A birthday in Goa is a location as much as an occasion. People fly in, take over a shack or a villa for a night, and what they remember afterwards is where they were. A phone records the cake well enough. It cannot put the headland, the bay and forty people on the sand into one frame.
The light decides the schedule
Most birthdays here run into the evening, and the aerial coverage worth having happens in the ninety minutes around sunset. Indian aviation rules permit drone flights between civil dawn and civil dusk, so that window is both the legal one and the good one. We fly it deliberately and cover the rest of the night from the ground.
Surprises, including proposals
A surprise only works if the person it is for notices none of the planning. If there is a proposal inside the evening, tell us in advance and tell nobody else: we position for it quietly, fly from distance, and keep the briefing to whoever is organising. It is the one moment on the night that cannot be asked for again.
Shacks, villas, and who has to agree
A private villa needs only the owner or the manager to agree. A beach shack sits on public sand, which is a different conversation, and some stretches of the Goa coastline are restricted airspace regardless of who runs the venue. Send the venue with the date and we check it on the Digital Sky map before quoting.
